The season is beginning and there shall be snow! 

Let’s get this party started.   Wednesday Sept 29th we will have our Beginning of Season Party 6pm at Valley Hi.  There will be a buffet provided by the club, drinks on you.  It will be great to see everyone.  We have a lot of information/news to disseminate so please attend.

Please use your best judgement and stay home if ill, wear a mask if not vaccinated.  I need  RSVP asap so we have enough food.  Please email me at wilkdi@hotmail.com.  THANKS

We will be collecting Membership Dues of $35 at the party if you have not already sent it in to Rick Olsen.  The  printable form is on the webpage  www.blazerskiclub.org.  PLEASE get your dues in ASAP so we have the correct membership numbers.

Also, CRESTED BUTTE SIGN UP will be at the party.  You must pay your dues to sign up!

BLAZERS ARE GOING TO CRESTED BUTTE (11 – 14 February 2022)
Come join The Blazer Ski Club in this longtime tradition at Crested Butte! Besides skiing, there are tons of things to do in this charming ski town—x-country ski, snowshoe, fat bike, shop, eat in fabulous restaurants, visit art galleries, ice skate and more! Due to the unknowns of COVID this will be a U-Drive drive only. Check-in will be at 4 P.M. on 11 February 2022. Trip will include 3 nights of lodging. NOTE: This does not prevent you from coming early the first day and leaving late the last day. Accommodations are at the Elevation Hotel and Spa. Elevation Hotel and Spa is a Ski in/Ski out condominium. Each Condominium has a microwave, mini-fridge, kitchenette, silverware, cookware, and some have a stove top. More details are available at: https://www.elevationresort.com/rooms.html. The hotel will check your gear if you want to Ski late on the last day. The city provides free shuttle service to the town from the mountain.

INCLUDED WITH THE PRICE: Social with Drinks and Appetizers 12 February and Super Bowl party with food, drinks and snacks on 13 February  in two adjoining suites.

NOTES: 1. Parking is free for one car. If a room has two cars, roommates will need to split the $20 a night fee.

2. Due to COVID, all roommates will have to agree to be in the same condo and all condos will be 2 per condo unless you pay the Single Supplement of $225.
3. Superbowl Sunday was chosen because the resort is empty by 1100. Below is a picture of the mountain  on Super Bowl Sunday

Cost: $420 Lift Passes are NOT included. Epic Pass covers this location.

DATES: Initial payment $225 due at sign-up (Opens 29 Sep) Final balance due 15 December 2020 Signups close 15 December 2020 or when out of rooms so sign up early
